Description
xRoom 1015 Cherry Punk Eau de Parfum comes from the Parisian house built on rock and roll imagery, and it plays its namesake fruit loud and dark rather than sugary. Released in 2020 and composed by Jerome Epinette, it sits somewhere between cherry liqueur and a worn leather jacket.
It opens on ripe cherry, bright and almost syrupy, cut by saffron and the dry tingle of Sichuan pepper that keeps the fruit from turning candied. The heart softens with jasmine absolute and mimosa, adding a powdery floral haze, while violet lends that faintly lipstick-like texture. From there it drops into black leather, earthy patchouli and tonka bean, a warm and slightly smoky finish that reads grown-up and a little rough around the edges.
This one suits anyone who wants sweetness with grit, and it works equally well on men and women. Best in cooler weather and after dark, though a light hand makes it fine for daytime wear. Expect seven to nine hours on skin with strong projection through the first couple of hours before it settles close.
