This is my first gourmand-ish scented perfume and I think Im just not used to the warm sweet smell of it because, of course, any gourmand scent is typically synthetic, and one spritz on my wrist is giving me a headache. Far away, it does smell delicious though. Imagine a marbled chocolate cake fresh from the oven. A hint of light vanilla and heavy chocolate. The Lilly Of The Valley dries down within 10-20 minutes, leaving a heavily sweet sugary smell. Im not too happy about it but I see myself wearing during a dizzying make out sesh. Its also my first Kilian scent too so I wonder if all his scents makes someone feel this intoxicated.

An absolute favorite
My husband got a free sample of this when he bought me the Beautiful perfume gift set for Christmas. I smelled this and instantly fell in love with it and so did he. He said he'd put it on next years Christmas list but I couldn't wait and decided to buy some now (he can still get it for me at Christmas, lol). It's subtle but definitely has that "wow" factor. I highly recommend!

Overlook the branding - it's worth your time
Okay so the name and packaging are really, REALLY unappealing to me. However, if you are a fan of lily of the valley, this is a must try. It brings to mind a crop of flowers growing in front of a bakeshop: a strong floral heart with an aggressive caramel note. The gourmand top notes do fade quite quickly on the skin and leave just a hint of sugar behind, so the overall effect is not too juvenile. Gonna have to grab this one in a bigger size during the sale.
