It opens on a liqueur-like Isparta rose, thick as preserves, sweetened by candied date that gives the top an almost edible, syrupy depth. The heart keeps that fruited rose intact while Cashmeran and Patchouli push it into velvet territory, with creamy Sandalwood rounding the edges. The dry-down is where it settles longest, as Tonka Bean, Amber and soft Musk turn the flower into something balsamic and skin-warm, more boudoir than garden.
Odéon reads unisex, though the richness suits anyone who likes rose with weight behind it. Save it for cooler evenings, dinners, and nights out when you want to be noticed at conversational distance. Projection is strong for the first couple of hours and then draws in close, with eight hours or more of wear from this 75 ml bottle and a trail that lingers on scarves and collars.
