this new Nasomatto scent, Blamage, is difficult to describe. I find it soft, almost delicate, with an underlying narcotic element. On me it starts out with fruit and sandalwood, then dries down to something layered and slightly animalic. It lasts forever and changes over time. Not much sillage, but if a person gets up close they can smell the sex.

This is a very unique smelling fragrance
I do pick up the leather, but it sort of hides behind a quite strong woody note (the birch?), and is more of a support for the wood than it's own note, if that makes sense.
There also seems to be a bit of a floral vibe that together with the woody vibe makes it feel kinda green.
I can't quite decide if it smells like damp wood, or very dry wood. But it definitely is woody.
It's very distinct and robust, but at the same time sort of airy and fresh-ish. Smells very natural, and doesn't really smell like anything else that I can think of.

Has a definitely Nasomatos fingerprint.
Even though one can find traces of / similarities to some notes of other Nasomatos fragrances, Blamage is a very well done, very round and elaborated blending. Good wearable during the year.

I'm addicted. Maybe bc I'm a recovering alcoholic. It's more than “drowning in a whiskey river” but that's the main note on me. Even though the dry down. A beautiful boozy perfume. On of the best! I love it. I wear it and I'm a woman. I get compliments all the time. It's meant to be a unisex frag, so ladies don't be afraid to sample this. I would suggest sampling bf plopping down $180 for 30ml! It's a niche frag and many folks may not feel comfortable wearing something so unabashedly boozy. I alway hope a cop doesn't stop me when I'm wearing it. I'm stone cold sober and I still cannot recite the alphabet backwards, which is what that asked me to do when I got my last DUI over 20 years ago. But I digress, I adore this perfume in small doses. It's amazing! I would follow a man anywhere if he were wearing it.
