Tom Ford's frangrances are always a treat for the nose, but this one takes it so much further! It's multi-layered, unisex, and never smells exactly the same twice. Upon the first spray, there is a little bit of a softer note and a slice of leather. As time goes on, the fragrance subtly changes and will be spicy, sweet, floral, a mix of scents and a nice finishing fragrance. I don't get the powdery scent others have complained about, I just smell a little sweetness behind the earthier scents. My favorite part is, it lasts forever!

FF is a very pleasant scent
On my skin, it opens with a burst of almond, and settles into a powdery tonka-orris-vanilla combination. Clary sage and lavender offer a bit of herbal bite, balancing the powder and sweetness. I actually didn't get as much leather as I had expected reading the notes, but it is there in the background. This isn't the sexiest thing I've ever smelled (though I wouldn't call it unsexy either), and honestly words like 'cozy' and 'pleasant' came to my mind moreso than 'fabulous'. I consider this a nice scent for a Sunday afternoon when I'm not in a hurry to do anything and just want to relax.

I know many people have mixed feeling about this scent. I got this as a gift about two years ago and the bottle is still quite full. You only need one spritz! It has great staying power. Its a unisex smell like most Tom ford perfumes are. Its a seductive deep oriental leather scent. Works well on myself or my boyfriend and smells different depending on whos wearing it.

This fragrance is so good that I had to order the 8.5 oz decanter flacon. I am very happy with this purchase. It is very versatile and I can wear it anywhere. The scent mixes really well with my pheromones. I am a man in my mid thirties and I would definitely recommend testing this before buying. This is not for everyone; Fabulous is a niche fragrance. The only critique that I have is that this does not have the longevity throughout the day of Oud Vanille or Tobacco Oud, but it is Fabulous nonetheless.

I purchased this item more for the novelty of the name. I had no idea if the fragrance would be desirable but I am aware of the quality of Tom Ford clothing and fragrances. I took a chance and the fragrance is magnificent. I have recommended it to other men for their wives, etc. Our 20 year old daughter said it smells "rich" and I agree. The fragrance can also be described as exotic and sensual.
